MY JOURNEY TO BECOMING A PROGRAMMER
Hi there, my name is Ashik Ghimire
Today, I want to tell my story. The story of how I wrote my first Hello World program and my journey following that first step.I hope you enjoy it.
I started coding during when I was in grade eight with HTML . This was a course taught by a Teacher of the school . He was the first person to introduce me to programming .
I had no computer at the time, so I used to write my code in a book and then proceed to compile it in school computer . It was very challenging to say the least. Whenever I would get an opportunity to use a friend's computer, I would run my own code on it just to confirm the accuracy. I believe this has helped me to become a better programmer, as I now mentally evaluate my own code even before my IDEs do it for me.
After that my family knows about my hungry with computer then my mother ask the MAMA for the computer to give me that computer . That computer is my first computer which is actually mama's computer. After giving the exam of SEE, I found love with Web development after I got my own computer. I was introduced to web development by a Brothers friend of my first tutor. I owe them all a lot.
I completed SWIFT course at NIIT so I could keep improving my skills in web development in PHP . Then I started +2 (management with optional subject computer and math) in Herald International College. Then I started Advance JAVA At Broadway Infosys around six month that help me to started my first job as a web developer in government Office.
I’m not going to say I was literally screaming of joy in my room, but if you were to accuse me of doing exactly that, I’m not going to deny it either.
More than the amazing Software Development skills I picked up during my time as a student, Broadway taught me some less common but equally important skills necessary to build a career in tech, like how to communicate with peers, how to write a stellar resume, how to negotiate salaries, etc.
I am not a success Programmer but I am on the way to achieved it. I am hunger to code so i hope one day i will be the successful programmer and successful person.
But what was my time there like?
